Days of Mathematical Modeling in Sciences
An international meeting space for researchers, graduate students and professionals who apply mathematical modeling to the study of scientific, technological and industrial phenomena.
The XI International Conference on Mathematical Modeling in Sciences brings together national and international researchers to explore the role of applied mathematics as a tool for understanding and solving problems in science, industry, and society.
This conference is organized by the Maule Mathematical Modeling Group (GM³) of the Universidad Católica del Maule, as part of its longstanding commitment to fostering engagement with the regional and international scientific community.
The main objective of this event is to share concrete experiences regarding the application of mathematical knowledge to the resolution of challenging problems arising in a variety of scientific contexts.
In this context, the participating academic and scientific community has included graduate students, professors, and researchers from Latin America, who have had the opportunity not only to present their research but also, since the fourth edition of the event, to publish their work in the associated journal Journal of Physics: Conference Series.
History and Academic Initiative
This conference emerged as a joint initiative of research groups based in Chile and Colombia, whose work focuses on the development, application, and dissemination of mathematical modeling in basic and applied sciences.
- Maule Mathematical Modeling Group.
- Scientific Modeling and Business Innovation Group of Universidad Simón Bolívar.
- Mathematical Modeling of Biological Systems Group of UTEM.
The purpose of this initiative is to provide a forum for the dissemination of knowledge in basic and applied sciences, with a methodological focus on mathematical modeling. There is also a particular interest in continuing to strengthen a platform for disseminating the scientific work of graduate students and fostering their academic interactions.
